Millet Pudding

A favorite pudding among our family and friends. The warming millet is highly nutritious, like buckwheat and quinoa, and easy to digest.

Ingredients:
50 g Almonds
200 g Millet ( pre washed and dried)
800 g Ricemilk / Milk or half Cream / half Water
1/4 Tsp Vanilla
1 P. Sea Salt
2 TBS Sweetener of Choice
2 TBS Butter or Coconut Oil

Method:
  • Grind almonds 10 sec / speed 8 and put aside
  • Grind millet  1 min / speed 10
  • Add all ingredients and cook 10 min / 80°C / speed 4  and 15 min / without heat / speed 4
  • Pour into a mold, cover and let cool overnight
  • Flip on a plate the next day
Enjoy with red berry compote and whip cream, strawberries or berries

Variation: Add 2 TBS cacao powder

  1. Ach du lieber Mensch! Tebasile, this is TOO GORGEOUS and also easy to prepare. Simple clean healthy flavours, und so pretty, pretty, pretty! Your beautiful presentation makes me think of the Edelweiss flower and I want to make this dish right now. It will have to wait though, because I don't have millet in the house today. I'm putting your recipe on the blog list of super recipes to try next. Big hug to you and "thanks again"!

    1. Hi there,

sorry , I didn't see you question! Just rinse the millet well and drain it a couple hours before you want to grind it.
